Fleet Maintenance Summary The Mechanic II – Tractor position is responsible for the inspection, service, repair and preventative maintenance of the various types of ATS tractors by using ATS and industry standard methods and criteria to make sure the tractor is safe to be on the road. Education and Experience Two year AAS Degree in medium/heavy truck diesel program and/ or a minimum three years of equivalent experience in related field e.g., automotive, medium/heavy equipment, trailer repair, etc. and experience in cutting and welding. Working Knowledge of DOT regulations and Out of Service parameters for tractors, trailers and accessorial equipment. Brake and 609 air conditioning certifications required. A valid driver’s license, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred but not required. Must be able to operate all related shop equipment. Must be DOT certified and forklift certified. Strong communications skills (written, verbal, listening), A firm understanding of basic computer operations. The position will work closely and learn the day to day responsibilities of a Fleet Manager; who balance the needs of drivers and maximizing production and are accountable for all aspects of service once dispatched on a load. The goal of the position would be to learn the transportation industry and ATS, Inc. operations to ensure high quality and profitable operation of the division by coordinating the personal, performance, training and service needs of an assigned group of drivers. The Fleet Operations Support position will grow over time and will be able to effectively motivate and lead ATS drivers with the goal to retain drivers in accordance with company and department quality, utilization, and profit objectives. Measurable day to day objectives after training: Manages the fleet productivity using critical performance indicators. Summary The National Sales Representative is responsible for enhancing and increasing the customer/shipper base of ATS Logistics Services through customer service, marketing, and sales. Responsible for managing and maintaining customers within assigned territory/region by contacting existing, inactive, and prospective clients to secure shipments that meet or exceed ATSI criteria. RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains and develops sales efforts within the assigned region/markets through effective sales, marketing, and customer service strategies to meet or exceed established load, revenue, margin and productivity goals. Prospects for new clients using available database & social selling tools and techniques Responds timely to RFPs, bid solicitations, and transactional service requests. Assembles and communicates customer scope of work requirements for pricing/planning group. Assists & collaborates with pricing/planning group on development of operational plans. Presents quotes/indications in a timely and professional manner; solicits and communicates timely feedback. Communicates with customer to assist in resolving service exceptions to ensure customer satisfaction. Acts as liaison between customers and the entire ATS organization to ensure customer and company needs are meet. Assists and advises with credit collection activities as needed.
